Pella Engraving uses its one-of-a-kind Metalphoto® process to create a highly durable identification tag appropriate for use on machinery. The anodized aluminum tags are created using Phototransfer technology, which embeds the dye permanently into the pores of the aluminum.
Electronic data transfer makes is possible for tags to be produced with unique VINs. The tags can also incorporate barcodes for use with scanners, giving companies the ability to replace handwritten shipping manifests with computer-generated ones.
