Bre Sytsma, senior at Pella Christian High School, interned for Pella Engraving Company this spring. “I didn’t know anything about engraving,” said Bre. By the time she finished working for PEC, she had mastered sandblasting and laser engraving. She also learned to create job orders and improved her organizational skills. “It was a very good place to work and a good experience. I’m going to miss it.”
Bre’s time at Pella Engraving allowed her to exercise her natural creativity. She has been a photographer since her sophomore year of high school and started her own photography business in her junior year. Following graduation, she plans to pursue her business.
